The conversation around AI in games is often skeptical. That concern deserves attention. People care about the artists behind the work, originality, consistency, and whether a game feels thoughtfully made.
Industry sentiment reflects that tension. In GDC’s 2026 survey, 52% of game industry professionals said generative AI was having a negative impact on the industry. A beautiful frame is only the beginning.
Images and video show how quickly generative tools can improve. Games ask for something more demanding: an experience that holds together while someone interacts with it.
Controls need to respond. Rules need to make sense. Art, animation, sound, and pacing need a shared direction. The experience has to stay compelling beyond its first impression. A polished image alone cannot establish any of that.
The quality of the experience is the argument.
Build the missing connections.
We see useful applications for AI across creative exploration, development tools, testing, and iteration. Our work is to connect those capabilities to a deliberate creative process, with a clear standard for the result.
That means giving a prototype a specific question to answer, inspecting what actually happens, and refining the parts that fall short. Making more material is only useful if we can recognize what deserves to stay.
Earn the player’s trust.
We want to make games with personality, care, and a reason to return. We intend to be open about our AI-native approach and let the work earn its place on its own merits.
This is our philosophy and our direction. We’re developing the games, tools, and methods to pursue it. Player trust will come from the experiences we deliver and how we respond to what people tell us.
